I'm not a big movie person.

But I did once goto the movies with some friends who wanted to see Avatar. Since I already seen it, I decided to watch Sherlock Holmes instead. I was literally the only one in the theater and it was great. Would do it again.

If it's a movie I really want to see I prefer to see it alone...

I tend to have to go see movies twice now...once with my girl and her annoying ass friends...these chicks be smacking loud ass hell on popcorn...talking the whole movie...reaching across to ask me all sorts of dumb shyt (Who is Wolverine? How come Spider Man don't just stick a web on their head and yank it off?)

Went and saw Godzilla yesterday...gonna have to go see it again before the weekend is out cause these birds kept asking me dumb ass questions and I constantly had to switch from to mode

lots of loners here i see. I'm usually being drug to the movies by some nikka that can't watch it alone. I actually hate going to the theatre. I'd rather watch it at home.

I have a couple times. It's just easier, no need to coordinate schedules, etc. I just go when I feel like it and enjoy the movie. Save myself quite a bit of money too usually.
