I do it all the time. Basically all three points you mention. And I'll say nothing beats the moment you walk into a packed theater, you go to the best row, see an empty seat right in the middle that was left open because of people's weird anxiety to sit next to each other, stroll over to that seat and sit down looking at the people next to you like "Hey, what's up?" :youngsabo:

They're so furious, every damn time! :dead:

Took me years to get over the 'I'm a loser if I watch a flick alone' hype
I had a job when I first moved back to Cali that was graveyard where I kinda had no choice due to my weekday schedule for a big release
After doing it once I was hooked
Had me like
:dwillhuh:

I can see the light....

:blessed:

`I watched what I wanted without the threat of being late,
having to pay for someone else,
watching it when I wanted to watch it,
and best of all
No stupid fukking questions and negative opinions

I can't name the amount of times I was in a flick with a female who was always asking questions and in the end hit you with the
I didn't get it
:snoop:

I always rig up my Fridays at the office on big releases to catch the 1st/2nd showing with little to no people
My watching movie experience has been
:ohlawd:

The only opinions I have to hear post movie are the random rumblings of the people in the theater
and my Coli fam when I pull out the phone during credits to drop my opinion.

When I switched jobs and started working daytime again a few months later
It actually improved my dating life
:takedat:

Movies are a huge waste.

If you wanna actually get to know a chick you have to do an activity that allows you to talk
Watching a movie together does ZERO to improve your 'odds of getting p*ssy'
Not unless you are watching flicks like: Titanic, Notebook etc...
But even then a female might be thinking long-term
Im trying to hit and bounce

Even if I do decide to bring up a movie to see...
It's going to be something she hasn't seen that we can watch at the crib

My 1st/2nd dates are creative as hell
But she better not think its going beyond 3
:sas2:

I did it once, well it happened by accident, felt very weird, might try it with Godzilla.

I do when people don't have any interest in a movie I want to watch, at first it felt weird but not any more.

Last year I was overworking myself taking summer classes and had gotten really stressed. So, I just up and went to clear my head and zone out. Saw 'The Conjuring' and I didn't tell or invite anyone. Was a nice experience and afterwards, I watched 'Pacific Rim'. Both films had been out a little over a month, so the theater was dense. Capped it off with some take out and a couple of beers. I'd do it again.
