Last gen there was a clear argument for the need of a pro console. People purchased 4k tvs and needed 4k content.

(I actually did not upgrade my xbox i upgraded my pc )

This gen everything is all upscaled, dynamic resolutions. So you’d be going from “upscaled 4k” to “better upscaled 4k” not an easy clear cut selling point like last gen. Most people aren’t watching DF videos to see the subtle differences. Nobody spending extra money on a pro consoles but you stan’s that buy everything cause sony told you to
