Wherever whores go.....
The two aren't analogous. Beats has better sound compared to cheaper headphones(from what I'm told, I don't own one). Then there's the status symbol that you must account for - it's a brand name.

HDMI cables on the other hand - its already been proven here and elsewhere that cheaper(or I should say, accurately priced) HDMI cables give you equal performance versus the expensive ones. And second, there is no status symbol associated with owning expensive HDMI cables. No broad is checking your cables for brand names - no one gives a sh1t. It's a dumb purchase.

:pacspit:

Guess who manufactures them dumbass

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
They got me and I can admit it. When I got my new tv it runs on 240 hz. Well I had him when he tried to sell me on a monster cable. I was like naaaaah they the same as the cheap ones.

Then he was like yea but that's for 120 hz tv. See here.... *shows me how the cheap one said 120 and the rocket fish said "works with 240hz" so I copped one. It was only like 30 but now I see the cheap ones saying 240hz too.

You're an idiot thats clear

:usure:

Since its inception, its products have been primarily manufactured and developed in collaboration with consumer electronics company Monster Cable

haha, ok I get you now. I am an idiot. Interesting that they also make those expensive cables though - even more evidence that they're swindling consumers.

I bought them when I was building my home theater system. My equipment ran me nearly 15 grand so WTF do I look like buying frail 99 cent monoprice cables when im dealing with high end electronics?

If you have one of those cheap theatre in a box joints, then enjoy your cheap cables fam. When you're ready to upgrade your hardware then holler at me.

That's the Home Entertainment Thread. Drop some pics of this 15K setup, we're dying to see this.

he fell for the "speed for 3d" jargon

I hooked up my ps3 to his tv with my 1st gen monoprice cable,,,saw no difference in quality at all...he tried to say there was some difference...not a damn thing

Another vote for Monoprice.

The other thing that is ridiculously priced are TV wall mounts. Them things are $70+ at stores (at best) and are $20+ through Monoprice...

I used to buy them in bulk through Mono and then sell them off on CL's and double my money...
