Own business owner over here and, yes you do end up working a lot more than you would a "9-5", but it certainly doesn't feel that way.

I work from home and the flexibility is unreal and even though there is a lot to do during the day, throwing a few movies on, having that music on, whilst you work is :smugfavre:

Working your ass off for someone else, when you can focus on a skill that you have and capitalizing off that on your own schedule >>>

Believe though, there is rarely a moment in which I'm not either working or thinking about work, but when it's your passion, you love it.

Reading this thread and getting inspired.

I'm working M-F, 8:30-4:30 and it's easy money and all but I'm tired of the same bullshyt routine. I got a nice chunk of change saved up so I feel comfortable financially if I would lose my job yesterday but I know I can't keep slaving away for these midget kikes for years on end so what's the best advice you can give to a fellow breh with a CHILD (haven't seen this point brought up) on how to throw the corporate world in the bushes :birdman:

I haven't been and it's part of why I basically said fukk it.
Too much bullshyt inside and outside of work got me needing to get my priorities straight. I realize this ain't where I wanna be and willing to sacrifice unemployment to find something better. A nikka is unhappy in general and it don't help being around a bullshyt job with other unhappy people.
I've worked with money processing the past 4 yrs. but it's too much work and not enough people (management is :trash:). Plus, the responsibilities aren't equally distributed so some people (like myself) do more shyt than others. Also, I've been averaging at least 50 hrs./week (no time for anything else really).
shyt, a typical work week for me in recent months can be like this:
M - 8-8
Tu - 8-7
W - 8-7
Th - 8-7
F - 8-8
shyt ain't no longer for me...:manny:

I work 3pm-11pm, with sundays and mondays off

Great schedule. What do you do?

I used to coach in the NBA

I work a night job in a hospital: 7pm to 7am W,TH,F, with S, Su, M, T off. It's a cool schedule. The job is laid back. Pay is okay, but could be better. I don't see myself doing this for another 5 years. I am desperately wanting to get into Grad School.

'Tis will fall on deaf ears fam.

Ive come to accept that not everybody thinks about life like this. Most people are comfortable knowing they have something will give that money to put food on the table and a roof over their heads.

I heard somebody say the other day......dont' quote me...... but something like Money is a symbol of our energy.............. :wow: ...... that could be looked at a lot of ways though... intriguing......

I usually work 6am to 2pm and have Sundays and Mondays off. It can be tough to wake up so early consistently, but there's nothing like leaving for the day in the early afternoon and having the freedom to do whatever you like.

Da city where the skinny nikkas die
Trading your time on this earth for money is the stupidest, widely accepted concept in society.

Time is all we have, actually putting a price on something as priceless as that is ludicrous.

As soon as I get enough money I'm starting my own business, doing what I want to do.

And you should too.

i feel you, and i know people that thought like that around age 18/19.... then 5 years later they saw all their friends who grinded out college and did grunt work and now they feel stupid because we've surpassed them.

Its a delicate balance that few people actually get right. and you said it yourself "soon as i get enough money." Well when will that happen? What will you do until then?
