I do consulting work. So I pretty much work for a company/person/events for a couple of months as an independent contractor for however long (from home or wherever I'm at. As long as I have a computer and phone)
No set hours
But I get that set pay
Which is pretty great because I get to take on multiple projects at once. Paid.

Trading your time on this earth for money is the stupidest, widely accepted concept in society.
Time is all we have, actually putting a price on something as priceless as that is ludicrous.
As soon as I get enough money I'm starting my own business, doing what I want to do.

Always worked under the table situations that paid great for a young adult (18-21), all my tax-paying "real" jobs were extremely flexible with little to no restrictions as long as I did my job.. Set my own hours and such.

9-5 M-F. I usually stroll in at least 15 min late everyday. Take 2 hour lunches at the bar at least once a week. I have a work cell phone for after hour emergencies, rarely answer that bytch. October makes 9 years I've been in this bytch and I fukking hate it now. I enjoy the travel work, and site visits, I'm just tired of the same fukking routine to come and sit at this damn desk. I work for myself on a freelance basis and can work anywhere with an internet connection. Just started this about a month ago and looking forward to the opportunity it brings. It's more work than my old day job was but rewarding because there are no ceilings on my income and I set my own hours. Glad I've been stashing away savings.
