Jimi Hendrix IMO, is the original electric guitar GOAT, he did so many innovative things, wrote some awesome songs, and influenced pretty much every electric guitarist to come. If you wanna talk the electric guitar GOAT as far as technical ability, it has gotta be this dude

But Shawn Lane is the only dude I've ever seen who could PERFECTLY cover Hendrix, and then take shyt into a whole new dimension of technical mastery. Some nikka mentioned Steve Vai in here
, Lane phucking smoked Vai while not coming across like a pretentious weirdo who thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. Breh suffered from psoriatic arthritis almost his entire life, and the steroids he was on are what made him put on the weight. Imagine playing this chit with phucking arthritis

Dunno if anyone will even give this a chance, but if you like Hendrix's playing, this dude came as close as anyone I've ever heard to channeling the same energy/sound, and then brought a level of technical mastery that almost seems impossible. I highly recommend any music nerd nikkas check him out. Be warned though, some of his earlier live videos are just him playing a million miles a minute the whole time

Benson is a Wes Montgomery disciple and Clarke is more like a Jeff Beck for bassists
Jimi was that guy but Steve Vai could probably give him a run. Those two are my favorite guitarist.
