I gotta go with Penny Hardaway. I know he gets a lot of hate on here but he was the first nba star that I really liked. He is the reason I am still an Orlando Magic fan to this day.

What I meant was what you just did. Whenever he is brought up in an appreciation thread, people seem to come out of the woodwork to dis or downplay him. I am not saying he was some all time great player but the thread said who was YOUR favorite player and he was the 1st nba player I really followed.
