I’ve been one of RJ’s biggest supporters throughout the years

I’m tired of his inconsistency. No finesse to his game, can’t shoot the 3, can’t defend well and has low basketball IQ. He can’t be the franchise

Grimes doesn’t get the usage and green light that Barrett does he’s better at practically every skill on the floor on both ends. There’s a lot of players in the league who can have good stretches with usage.

In his last 20, Barrett is 20/5/3 on 43/34/75 splits and poor defense. It’s inefficient and pedestrian. I will not be fooled by these unsustainable hot streaks of shooting he goes through.

We saw Grimes miss some open looks, travel in the clutch one game, and miss some FT’s now he shrinks in the clutch

This is a young player with less than 1500 career minutes played over 68 career games practically a rookie just imagine how many actual clutch time meaningful minutes he’s played in the NBA even I had patience with Barrett and rooted for him at one point but y’all writing son off already

I would never want Grimes to have no damn 30% usage

Grimes deserves more on ball reps and shots in spurts during the season and SL we’ve seen he has a better handle, he has a quicker first step, he is a better passer.

For sure if Grimes took 15-18 shots a game he’d outproduce Barrett easily

Efficient C&S with variety+attacking close outs/transition hard as fukk and finishing with good connective passing and good defense>>Civil Rights Movement era lay-up package
