That sounds fair…

Except Randle and Fournier are still here though. Thibs is still here too.

This team needs to trade Randle and Fournier yesterday and then get a new coach who can rein in RJ or create a better offense.

The problem with this FO is that they get shook and turn p*ssy. Every time they try to be too safe or too smart they accomplish shyt. The only time they are willing to make a move is when the other side is desperate or they have insider information from CAA.
Gotta be real, I don't think Thibs is the problem. I don't think Randle deserves to be made into a scapegoat either since he's actually playing good ball, and while Fournier should get traded, he's still better than Barrett.

RJ has no offensive bag; when was the last time he attempted a simple step back? RJ is getting wide open spot ups from wherever on the court constantly, some of the easiest shots possible and he's not close to hitting them, changing up the offense is not gonna give him better opportunities than those. RJ is choosing to Barrell into the two defenders at the rim and take harder shots because he can't shoot point blank. We can talk about reigning RJ in, but when does self-accountability come into play?

I hope this slow start shyt for RJ really is a thing so he can recoup some value and get traded. A player who needs a quarter of the season to round into good play shouldn't be a building block. I like RJ but it's obvious he's not gonna become the homegrown star we wanted. I'll be happy if he proves me wrong though.

For the Reggie apologists. Just saying :hubie:

Reggie wasn’t shooting like that with us and while he was here was one of the top defenders in the league of the spot up play type. We could really use a player like him now.

Thibs may not be the problem but he is a problem. A major problem. He sucks, and needs to go. Fire Thibs

I dont get it.
Nets games just don't look as lit, crowded, and engaged as Knicks games.

And the knicks have a worse player selection. :mindblown:

Simple breh

Longer and richer tradition between New York and the Knicks.

Nets will always be looked as the New Jersey Nets regardless of where they play in the tri state area.

RJ has to play better point blank. It’s still too early to give up hope. I saw the improvement in his game last year…this year I see absolutely no upgrade in any facet of his game.

One of the main issues is the offense the Knicks run is garbage. RJ isn’t creative of the dribble enough to thrive in this offense.

We hated him at the time but Elfrid Payton was the last true PG we’ve had. Brunson has been great but he’s a shoot 1st PG. He’s also terrible on D. For all of Payton faults he was a solid frontline defender and knew how to run the offense.

This offense is the reason why Fournier has become useless. We knew coming in he was subpar on D but his offense was supposed to make up for it.

What are the Knicks assistant coaches doing? I was shocked to see them come out and basically run the same garbage sets from last year as if they were successful doing it..The whole coaching staff is garbage.

Team is just poorly constructed. This has been the most bleak it’s been for me ever as a Knick fan. We’ve stockpiled a bunch of assets that are Mid at best

It’s that bum ass nikkas fault alone.

Brunson is a fine point guard it ain’t 1988 we don’t need Mark Jackson out there.

The Knicks offense is the best it's been since Melo was here. Elfrid Payton with his "ignore everyone except Julius" BBIQ included. Perimeter defense is by far the bigger problem.

Talking about pg play implies that RJ isn't getting good shots, that's false. Teams are letting him shoot from 3 at this point, and he's blowing layups like he's trying to go viral. It's only but so much you can get spoonfed if you can't even chew on your own.

Fournier is useless because the Knicks already had Rose, Grimes, RJ, and IQ to begin with. I will forever stand by signing Fournier made no sense from day 1.
