I think most of us wanted to see a leap in shot creation and we have not seen that. His 2PT% is up but its the result of getting a lot more assisted shots in the paint (65% so far this year compared to 42% last year) with a full head of steam whether it be a hard cut or off screen as a ball handler in semi-transition. He is getting more shots with a full head of steam and little paint resistance.
I also saw a stat that out of his 26 lay-ups this season, 12 have been with a margin of 10+ points and we have personally seen it and called it out that dude is blatantly padding his stats so it's hard for me to even take that 2PT% seriously given the context and sample size. I still have little confidence in him against a set half court defense with the ball in his hands whether attacking the basket or as a shooter.
