They used the exact same strategy that they always do. They switched to a zone that slowed everyone down and they just dared the Knicks to shoot. Instead of the starters dribbled into traffic and turned the ball over or missed badly which sparked transitions for Atlanta.

The bench was more effective but Obi missed a pair of jumpers and Thibs went back to starters.

Thibodeau sucks, the starters have no spacing, and the starters can't stop any ball handlers which means the big men either get dogged or pick up fouls.

...brightside, Grimes defended Murray a couple times in garbage time and stayed in front of him.

I was trying not to be pessimistic right before the regular season started but Thibs coaching issues were reeling their ugly head which has been the case since we made the playoffs & got beat down. And of course he & Randle still have no answer for the zone defense. It's been time to move on from them

Another point is why the hell haven't we seen Jump Man Jericho out there? I've been meaning to put this out there. He's rewarded with a contract & has barley played garbage time mins this season. He's a big man that moves his feet well on the defensive end
