These back to back losses are strictly on Leon Rose. There was no need to hoarde these draft picks and players if you weren’t going to move them

That's the best part of all this to me.

Inevitably, for all the hoarding the front office has done because they claim to value the player too much to trade, or don't see the star as worth moving them for, we'll eventually destroy their value and/or lose some/all of them them for nothing because we can't sign them all.

Quick and Obi are bench players on this roster behind Randle and RJ/Brunson that likely believe they could be fringe stars elsewhere with the keys and eventually they will ask out, or because they're stuck on the bench, we won't get real value for them unless it's a Mitchell-like trade (which we won't make, because, you know, the star isn't worth all that - can't do the Melo trade again!)

Same for Grimes.

So you kept them to have depth for a star, but never got the star and keep them behind mid stars and they become disgruntled and hurt their value in the process.

This organization and fan base is so fukking scared of fukking up it is genuinely hilarious.

But don't worry, they'll go on a nice little streak and this thread will be hype again, only for them to go on a skid and everyone all sad again.

Yeah if RJ continues the way he’s playing right now then the whole fan base will turn on him.

The only thing he’s improved so far this season are his free throws and that’s it.

I remember saying Rj peaked in college. I didn’t see him getting any bigger/more athletic and he never would develop “handles”
