building multiple x men movies around MYSTIQUE with the main actress mailing it in is terrible. Imagine the avengers being built around black widow NOT IRONMAN or CAP after the first avengers movie...

It was even worse. Imagine a Justice league movie with Harley Quinn as the leader over Superman and Batman. That’s what they did to X-men for the last six years on top of messing up the Fantastic Four.

The saddest part was that these people went in thinking they knew better than the OG source material when they had the blueprint right in front of them the whole time (70s/80s Claremont X-men, Lee/Kirby FF and later John Byrne FF)

I hated that bytch so much that she destroyed the show for me.. The final straw was an episode in the second season where she was actually instructing at the FBI Academy or something. I was willing to overlook a lot due to suspension of disbelief, but given her incredible stupidity and lack of judgement, the idea that she would be entrusted with teaching anything was an insult to my intelligence. I turned it off and never looked back.
