And some that made it, but aren't at the apex anymore

And some that may not be at the pinnacle but have carved out a very lucrative career

Sam Worthington is a recent one that comes to mind. He had so much hype as a legit powerful actor from Christian Bale when they were working on Terminator Salvation. Bale kept saying Worthington was gonna be that next guy and then nothing happened at all.

Taylor Kitsch (sp?) for sure. Collin Farrel. Jai motherfukking Courtney. Dude gets pushed into the Kyle Reese role and has the personality of a dish rag.

A few worked. Like I felt like Ryan Reynolds and Jason Staham were forced on people for a while but they ended up doing well. Ryan Reynolds I don't know how. He keeps flopping franchises. I hope Deadpool does okay.

Jonah Hill to a degree. A lot of those guys in Judd Apatow flicks to be honest. James Franco's little brother. I know it because everyone calls him "James Franco's brother"

Is Thomas Jane a bad pick?

They tried to put Dane Cook into a comedy star role and I feel like he fell on the face of the fukking planet. I know his brother stole money from him and he went away for a while but it seems he never came back.

Jessica Simpson I felt like was forced. Amy Schumer is getting it a bit now but there's also something I dig about her.

I think it's because you start to think of ones that maybe were forced in the beginning but worked out. Either that or people measure success differently. Like Ryan Reynolds is definitely successful but not as a leading man in big franchises, which is how Hollywood tried to push him for a bit.

Does that make sense? Maybe I'm wrong.

And I feel like Shia Lebouff fukks things up for himself personally as opposed to the public not fukking with him. Everybody else mentioned at this point is right on though.

unfortunately, although i like him, this list was made for ryan reynolds also sam worthington and the off brand sam worthington aka jai courtney but it seems like theyve given up on jai.
