Nobody is pushing Gosling. He has the looks and everything to have a go at it, but if you look at his film choices, he clearly has no interest in being a star.
He got the Blade Runner part because it's a "serious" movie and he's a "serious" actor. We're acting like Blade Runner is a popcorn flick now?
There's literally no better example of someone being mentioned out of dislike than saying Gosling. The man literally only does studio movies like once or twice every other year to keep his name (and net worth) somewhat relevant, while spending most of his time taking the roles he truly wants to play.
