Im sure its eugene and its gay they make us wait months to see eugene get his brains bashed inIf we are just talking business, Michonne and Darryl are the highest selling toys. (Rick & Michonne are highest selling merchandise like clothes/t-shirts) Darryl and Michonne also both have SOLO video games, and Michonne especially dominates the cosplay and fanart scenes for the franchise. She is their Spiderman/Wolverine sales and popularity wise. While glenn is immensely popular, he isn't moving the same type of units.
AMC has two things they are looking at before story in terms of who (if anyone) to kill.
First: Sales and revenue. So the money earners (Rick/Michonne/Darryl) are safe. (Carl is not at all safe from a revenue standpoint by the way.)
Second: Lobbyist internet groups that'll get butthurt. i.e. why'd they kill the ____ ? Insert what you want (black, gay, woman, child, etc)
So... from this standpoint its safest to kill a straight white adult male (Abraham/Eugene since Rick is safe) and least safest to kill a double or triple categoried character. Maggie is a woman AND pregnant AND sick, Sasha is a woman AND black but is not the only black woman so does not constitute a minority in this case... so she is on the chopping block. Rosita is the only latina AND a woman so she is safe, the gay dude is white and male but beingmakes him safe... Glenn is the only asian. So he isn't going anywhere.
Anyway, based on criteria 1 and 2... I'd say the most likely to die (not factoring in any story whatsoever, simply revenue and butthurt groups) is:
Abraham or Eugene. A straight white adult male.
Storywise it 'just so happens' Eugene and Abraham resolved their differences with each other and Abraham is at peace and happy, no longer haunted by his demons (storyline resolved) while Eugene is no longer a coward and has been recognized as a valuable contributor as of the last episode, completing his redemption arc (storyline resolved) so my money would be on one of those two.
Kirkman ks on record saying losing abraham before the civla war arc was a mistake. The death mesnt for abraham was given to denise and the death meant for glenn probably is given to eugene. It makes sense they spent time trying to build both denise and eugene as capable characters only to hastily kill them is safe and dumb
Negan appears as one of the best tv villains ive seen in years. The comedian wlake din and murdered the role wirh just 10 minutes and a baseballl bat. He literally made the rntire group get on their knees and relinquish half of everything they have and bytched on psycho rick. To just kill eugene would be a cop out and a tame warning shot. Wlaking dead may have rsn away from a historical television moment that would have boasted them from that popular show thats not good enough quality wise to warrant all the hype to a show that deserves to be taken seriously as a risk taking show.
By doing a third cliff hanger episode in kne season i consider this their clear cop out

They didn't show anyone die.
Negan said he is going to beat someone (not kill them) so with a show like this where they are scared to do anything major, no one is dead until you see someone die... and even then they might not be dead.
That shyt with Glenn in the dumpster ruined their credibility for even trusting the scenes themselves. Thats bad narrative when you are watching something and expect that its a trick or a dream sequence or misdirection. People keep mentioning Game of Thrones, but it really does set the bar. When someone dies on GoT you don't wonder 'are they really dead?' you trust the narrative cause they aren't so cheap as to fukk with you.

I can tell he hasn't read the comics though cause Negan never rests Luccelle on the ground and he did it twice already when he was kneeling down.
Negan freaks out about that in particular. He says" Luccelle is a a sight to behold, like the American Flag, her touching the ground would be disrespectful"

I feel like the writers are viewing forums as we speak to come to conclusive ending. I think they have something in mind but want to guage public perception on scenarios. How else would you explain some of this bad writing?
Now with that being said, Neegan said to gouge Carl's eyes out if he moved. Now, if I remember correctly Carl is on the very end. I'm guessing that maybe whomever is next to Carl, is the one that takes the "Lucille" blow.
