It makes the most sense for the death to be Glenn

For it to have any impact at all it has to be a main character...Glenn, Michonne, Abe or Sasha. Highly doubt it's Michonne and I'd be extremely disappointed if it were Eugene.

Pretty impossible to be Rick, Carl, Maggie or Daryl.

Highly doubt it's Abe too as Kirkman already made the case for him possibly living thru this... Or just trying to syke everyone out.

@TWD They're dumb as f*ck for leaving as a cliffhanger and not really show the horror of it. Months later the reveal will not have the same impact, IMO. See, I don't trust the follow up on this cliffhanger. Not after Glenn's stuff this season, last week's gunshot, Terminus. The terrible prequel series. The lame "conclusion" to the cool plane story.

More the audience is on the receiving side of the action bullshyt. We are the victim, My eyes were rolling hard with this one. And frankly I don't care who got killed. Its the Glenn stuff all over again except I don't even care enough to speculate about it.

So, if they think I'm all excited to wait until next season... Nope. I'm just annoyed and heading to spoilers once they appear.

It took Morgan long enough to finally nut up and shoot a killer instead of speechifying.

JDM was amazing as Negan though.

Abraham has been saved by the crestor essentially because of his importance.

They have two black females and both have been put in positions of power snd importsnce...michonne would be the likely one whose death would shake up the show but i think they liken her too important to let go and idk how the world reacts to a woman getting beat in her head with a bat

I also think maggie would be a good choice due to her being sick bht i feel like her being sick makes her saved because they lkkely want to finish this story

Darly started a new show but is considered the most popular and wont be killed in a shotty death like this where he only said like 3 words this episode

Rosita death would be cheap but make sense to toss her since she legit has no story now that denise died in front of her and abraham left her.

All thats left is eugene who gave up the recipe for bullets and has no other useful skill to the group without it and the gsy guy who really isnt inportsnt to the grsnd scheme of things

People who wont be killed:

People who more than likely are the ones killed:
Eugene
Rosita
Abraham
Gay guy
Sasha

I think only glenn/daryl/michonne/maggie are the only four that could make up for that cliffhanger

If we are just talking business, Michonne and Darryl are the highest selling toys. (Rick & Michonne are highest selling merchandise like clothes/t-shirts) Darryl and Michonne also both have SOLO video games, and Michonne especially dominates the cosplay and fanart scenes for the franchise. She is their Spiderman/Wolverine sales and popularity wise. While glenn is immensely popular, he isn't moving the same type of units.

AMC has two things they are looking at before story in terms of who (if anyone) to kill.

First: Sales and revenue. So the money earners (Rick/Michonne/Darryl) are safe. (Carl is not at all safe from a revenue standpoint by the way.)

Second: Lobbyist internet groups that'll get butthurt. i.e. why'd they kill the ____ ? Insert what you want (black, gay, woman, child, etc)
So... from this standpoint its safest to kill a straight white adult male (Abraham/Eugene since Rick is safe) and least safest to kill a double or triple categoried character. Maggie is a woman AND pregnant AND sick, Sasha is a woman AND black but is not the only black woman so does not constitute a minority in this case... so she is on the chopping block. Rosita is the only latina AND a woman so she is safe, the gay dude is white and male but being makes him safe... Glenn is the only asian. So he isn't going anywhere.

Anyway, based on criteria 1 and 2... I'd say the most likely to die (not factoring in any story whatsoever, simply revenue and butthurt groups) is:

Abraham or Eugene. A straight white adult male.
Storywise it 'just so happens' Eugene and Abraham resolved their differences with each other and Abraham is at peace and happy, no longer haunted by his demons (storyline resolved) while Eugene is no longer a coward and has been recognized as a valuable contributor as of the last episode, completing his redemption arc (storyline resolved) so my money would be on one of those two.

i agree they shouldve shown it to some degree, maybe not every strike of the bat since the TWD fanbase is kind of soft, but i feel like they pussied out big time. lets just hope they dont fukk up even more by only killing someone who isnt even in the core group and no one cares about dying.

lol idk why i continue to watch this show. its such a disappointment when you think how good it COULD be.
