If I remember correctly, all the quick cuts to the B group locked in the RV are of one person. Then we see the POV of the Saviors opening up the RV. If my memory is right, it was Darryl's POV as he was first to be dragged out. Just my two cents.

I do think that the setup for how we got to the ending moment was better in the show than in the comics. The way they trapped and redirected Rick & Co. is just crazy. Great execution there (no pun intended )

Rick is the star of the show. You can't kill him. Negan did all of the talking with Rick. Nobody else in the group can really lead them....

Makes more sense to me that it's Glenn.

1. Glenn used to be fan favorite but the past few years it's massively Darryl

2. Maggie kept shouting Rick out on how she believes in him and how great he is all episode. If I'm not mistaken, in comics doesn't Gleen death turn her savage and against him? They were kinda setting that up...

3. Not Carl because it would make Rick savage. He wouldn't even try to protect group he would just go apeshyt and die right there so that wouldn't work.

4. Maybe Darryl just because of the POV idea someone had - but then again, it was POV for Glenn, Darryl and Michinne because they were all in truck, not just Darryl
