They're all selfish. Every time a character leaves because they have to "finish something". It's another example of being selfish. Daryl did it, Morgan, Denise, Gabriel, Rosita, Abraham, Enith, etc etc. The list goes on. Whenever a character goes off on their own for one of those self reflection trips, it weakens the group and puts everyone in danger. I'd argue Glen is probably the most selfless in the group.The Saviors have clearly been watching Alexandria, They are already in position, just waiting for the word...
That makes sense why Daryl went out looking for Dwight. He knew Dwight was coming back and he knows where they are.
Carol kind of selfish, but I guess she's trying to come to terms with the level of crazy that she's able to operate on. I think Carol changed her mind about leaving seeing how close the Saviors are. She is probably setting up shop, watching the Saviors while the Saviors are watching Alexandria. She is definitely lurking
Does anyone feel like it was a cop out to have Dwight say "you'll be alright: after shooting Daryl? I mean they couldn't just let there be one week of suspense. Seems like they were scared of the backlash to me.

There's absolutely 0% chance it's Rick. This whole season has been about building up Rick's hubris to the point that he feels unstoppable then bringing him crashing back down to earth. The finale is going to humble him in the most monumental way possible.
