First thing I thought when I saw that cover was griselda

them nikkas underground so it wouldn't have been that much of a backlash

like the chris benoit cover

but kanye and push are kanye and push so fukkery

you can't jump in other nikkas lanes when the same factors don't apply to you

nikkas shyt on dead rappers right here in the Booth on a daily basis:gucci:?So maybe I'm just desensitized, this seems tame.
Especially if it was already public record.
The most disgusting thing here to me,is that he had to pay the photographer or magazine for the photo and not her mother or immediate family.
She died from drowning from using drugs, unfortunately that will always be apart of her legacy.
Disgusting is a strong word, considering this is hiphop were talking about.
The family should get something out of this though financially if they paid somebody 85K.

Being happy about something and accepting that that's the facts of that persons life are two different things, if my fam did some shyt then they did the shyt, i aint bouta get in my feelings if someone references it, life moves on

She could denounce all she wanted to, i never said anything about what she would say if she was still alive.

you were talking about this somehow disrupting her in the afterlife and the idea of dead people still giving a damn about their perception down here is hilarious to me

Bruh when ppl say let the dead rest its not literal...means leave all the fukkery related with them alone...put it to rest...they may be dead but their friends and fam are still here with the memories good and bad...u opening up old wounds and bad memories for no reason...other than some attention whore shyt...I understand ur angle...I don't necessarily agree with it....

I get it but it's a catch-22. People pay for the sins of their fathers with everything. Your legacy and everything in it lives on until it's no longer a memory, and even then all it takes is for someone to dig it up and then it happens again. Anything documented can and will come up later. You just have to accept it, especially is this era of documenting everything, sometimes for a cheap thrill. I don't believe that you're disrespecting the dead by talking and bringing up events that actually happened. It's apart of who she was. To me, it's only distasteful if you doctor the photo, manipulate it in anyway...like if he was her dealer in the pic.

Let's look at it with other issues. I mentioned in my earlier posts of the Pablo thing. So, because he was a drug lord, you can take a pic standing over his shot-up body, while smiling? and that pic has been everywhere. He's dead, so that pic should not be used in anything even though it's part of his legacy? Let's look at all of those horrific pics taken throughout history. These are horrific images that are shown and shown again, nevermind the people in them being used as a history prop or reference point, but someone is going to take offense to that with it being the end result. All I'm saying is that it's either always OK, or always wrong. The faceless/nameless still belong to someone.

It is pretty tasteless and borderline too far, but as it is, I like the cover, and I get the imagery, I think. It's really dark if you think about it. Pusha raps about selling coke, which consumed Whitney, among other drugs, so what you see around her, the ugliness and insanity, is from people like Pusha's raps represents. The ounce or whatever Whitney had, or had her flunkies buy, came from a kilo, which made it to LA, most likely from Tijuana, and Sinaloa before that, than to kilo dealers, to ounce dealers, all the way to Whitney's bathroom, or hotel suite. That's just the truth.

I doubt Kanye or Pusha could articulate that, the luxury, vs the depravity of addiction, how it buys things and loses things for all involved. If you sold drugs at any significant scale, you have been a part of that.

All that considered, I bet Kanye found that on like 7th google search for "cocaine luxury" or something lol
