My dorms were all male, the next door one was all female. If a female was walking in the male dorm hallway without a male escort, you and her would both get in big ass trouble.

We had 50 guys on my dorm floor, everyone knew everyone. If some random straggler was passed out in our little Rec room or whatever, it would have been a big deal. Like if a college dormitory has a rep for anything unsafe, or could be, they shut it down real quick. Hell we couldn’t even open our windows in my dorm room. They said it was to regulate the temp for the building, but it was also cuz they didn’t want people smoking. If they caught you with a window open, you could get kicked out, especially if you raised hell and were an a$$hole about it. Rules are rules and if you’d want to comply you better understand the circumstances.

Now, she should have shown ID and she likely would have ended the situation. Instead, she thought she was above the rules and didn’t have to show anybody shyt.

It’s like to me, fukk the police all day, but if you think I’m gonna stand up and do anything but basically kiss their ass if I’m in a situation, you’re mistaken. That’s a battle you’ll lose 99.9% of the time. Those battles can end your life, or get you locked up doing football numbers. And even if you don’t do anything wrong they still might kill you. My goal is to get away from a cop as quickly as possible and don’t be a smart ass.

I've experienced a similar situation. shyt like this boils my blood. The older I get the more I have complete distain and apathy for white people.

This story hits close to home because I fell asleep one time in my college in this multipurpose open building that had a computer lab, cafe downstairs and dorm upstairs. I was tired as shyt after working on a lab report all night long it was close to 4 and class was in 3 hrs so i figured I'd take a power nap. Mind you people are up 24/7 at my campus always pulling all nighters, people fell asleep everywhere all the time, and the lab/building is open 24/7.

No more than 30 mins after sleeping I woke up to security shaking me awake and asking me to leave. I told him I was a student and showed them my ID. He told me I needed to be gone by the time he came back. I stayed in the building to see what they would do and went into the computer lab (surrounded by glass walls) and started doing coursework for another class. Him and police come walking by the common area across from the lab where I fell asleep and stared and talked about me from outside the door of the computer lab then walked off.

I mentally blocked off and forgot that shyt until this article came up. I'm glad she recorded it and made the girl/police/yale look like an ass!!!!! Yale is going to pay her to keep bad publicity away.

I can understand him asking for ID but asking me to leave pissed me off. I would have gone to my dean and escalated it if the police made me leave the computer lab. The thing is that there was an asian sleeping in the same area I was at when I left to class in the morning.

Maybe he called the security because I stole his spot.

If you honestly believe a white person with no degree would get a 6 figure job while a black graduate from Yale can’t get that same job...

Let me break something down for you. My ex girlfriend is a hiring recruiter for the largest commercial real estate brokerage firm IN THE WORLD. So they get some real heavy hitters.

All she did is look at resumes and conduct interviews. Minorities by far an and away were more likely to get considered for positions than whites. She basically had one stack for whites and one for minorities. They minorities always got the first look.

She openly passed on people just because they were white. I’d sit with her at night and she prioritized minorities with similar degrees and experience over whites. This is common practice with large firms and they push diversity extremely hard. They do have quotas and if they don’t meet them, there are ramifications. She also worked for one of the big 4 accounting firms in HR. Similar story.

Go to any major IT firm. Like Amazon’s IT dept. Almost all minorities. My buddy is Indian and it’s a running joke they don’t hire whites. I’m sure there are plenty of whites with no degree there while black graduates from Yale are getting passed over
