Oh that is actually good cause those are all well known issues with Asian girls so they packaged her as the archetype...... idk how the movie plays out, but it evoked the right emotions out of you.Here's the issue about the movie that rubs me off the wrong way:
The movie just rubbed me off in such a terrible way like I was Asian
- Ole girl being comfortable playing the stereotypical token Asian friend to a bunch of Yawker yuppy artsy cacs
- Ole girl being the most selfish, obnoxious, and unlikeable fukking bytch throughout the movie
- The Asian dude getting swept out of the picture in a instant for white prince
- The fact that ole girl ran from her home country with whiplash impact to embrace Western culture is propaganda in the making

Like the movie should have been layers beyond "I wish I never met him at all". Obviously, childhood to young adulthood love trumps all, but the white dude made it impossible to not want that ending. My god that dude was such a smug ass throughout the flick.
If the Koala Cut was allowed, I would have let the jawn fukk the living daylights out of her childhood friend, while the cac holds the camera, but somehow Hollywood never got back at me about such a idea

I will say this. It is interesting how asian women drove much of this white worship phenomenon. Even though the men have their issues too, it really took off when the women were caught up in it.
