Montreal is very English, and you will have no problems.

Anything outside of the city and it's hit or miss .....mostly miss.

And i've never had a problem , while blacks only make up 3% of canadians and there is more females than males, the majority of all blacks are situated around hte big cities, if you grew up in a big city more than likely you went to a diverse school, had an array of friends of different nationalities etc.

BUt i'd have to say cdn women seem to more liberal

Montreal is pretty much a bilingual city at this point. Most people can get by in english (especially younger generations born and raised in montreal)

Only french speaking province in Canada is QC. french people are mainly concentrated in Quebec. Some small communities in Ontario and maybe New Brunswick as well speak french but Canada is mainly an english speaking country.
