That's my thinking.
Sure, DMN is really just trying to bust the union and doesn't care that much about what she did.........but that informal way of speaking to a Black man that is at least 20 years her senior seems "off."
Addressing a 20 year old Black male college student as "breh"....sure. Addressing a damn near 50 year old Black male as "breh" when you're a 20-something white broad is tacky. If she knew him like that, cool....but they clearly don't have that kind of relationship.
Having said ALL THAT.......DMN is shady as fukk and has been since forever. They are using this story to pass off white people and get them on that "damn nigras using the Race Card" shyt.....when all this is about is DMN attempting to break a union. Highland Park and the Dallas Citizens Council have had them in their back pocket for generations.
I don't care what the real reason for her being fired is. What I do care about is that she chose to disrespect the mayor of the city she works in by calling him Bruh. Mr. Mayor, Sir, Mayor lastname are appropriate responses when dealing with the elected leader of the city, not Bruh.
That overly familiar response to a Black man in a position of power is a play right out of the White Supremacy playbook.
-If the mayor was white would you still care about this? I see no problem with not giving a fukk about elected officials on many levels, especially ones you don't agree with & didn't vote for. Getting appointed to a position doesn't automatically make you a person worthy of respect.Word and unfortunately the dudes in here who don't see a problem with it have been successfully brainwashed.
Dallas Morning News Editor Katrice Hardy for firing her privileged ass.

Why are you guys so intent on defending this White woman considering the history they have of disrespecting Black people in positions of power? Why is it that you feel her acts should be defended, considering the last sentence in my original statement? It's a tweet though. It's not like they were in a professional setting and he asked her to call him professionally and she didn't. The punishment doesn't fit the crime.

Calling out White people for disrespecting a Black person in a position of authority is what White Right wingers do? You do know your assertion makes no sense, right? Especially when the main ones complaining about being called out on their disrespect of Black people are White Right wingers.Because I don't see it as a big deal. Nor do I carry around animosity towards white people like some of you do. I'm more than willing to call out legit racism but I'm not for diluting racism claims just because it feels right to you. That's some shyt white right wingers do.

You are so intent on defending a White woman who disrespected a Black leader, that you are creating arguments that are absolutely illogical.
This is why black people in positions of power matter
I know the history behind those slights. From reading up on them to seeing them over my 53 years. Over familiarity to a Black man in positions of authority has always been a way for White racists to take uppity negroes down a peg.Making perceived racial slights bigger than they are is what white right wingers do which is my point. Clearly you seem intent on being making an issue of something inconsequential. You sound sensitive as hell. You can enjoy arguing racial injustice over the word bruh while I will actually worry about legit racism.

Second, you have just exposed yourself by trying to now use some shaming tactics. Disagreeing with your position does not make anyone sensitive, but asserting that someone is sensitive because of their disagreement with you does expose that you are projecting.
