The white man came to Africa offering us religion, peace and modernisation yet brought us famine, western diseases and violence regardless of whether you had resisted or collaborated. I'd also expect a flood of well-produced English and other European-language propaganda highlighting the "barbarity" of the black South Africans they'd be fighting.
Contrary to what you might expect, that propaganda wouldn't be used primarily for recruiting soldiers. Instead, its purpose would be to outflank any demands for intervention that may arise by citizens of the US, UK, etc. Because these countries are democracies, their leadership is ultimately beholden to public opinion. Painting their black South African foes as savage monsters will do just enough to paralyze those national governments and prevent them from engaging in "humanitarian intervention."
