And why is that. If the argument is that white fans love the Stones/Zep/Elvis etc while pretending like they created rock, your argument is invalid considering those same white people love Muddy Waters/JLH/etc.

Music doesn't belong to anyone exclusively for christs sake. The British Invasion was inspired by black American music, everyone knows that. But it was also inspired by other forms of American music, including Appalachian - which is basically cac music.

BTW who created metal?

The irony in your last statement us that you dont know a group of black guys were the ones to create metal. Your point fell apart :mjlol:

You cant still a genre

Whites & blacks enjoyed rock & roll & had influence & success all at the same time..

It was a genre that got corny & blacks abandoned it

Rock n roll of 70s & 80s sound nothing like the rock n roll of the 50s & 60s

If white people somehow steals hip hop, soul & r&b erase the history & make it their own genre then I'll believe it can happen

Nobody under 45 cares about jazz & blues so its more profitable to whites & london

You cant still a genre

they did from a marketing POV

that's not what happened. What happened is right after black made rock n roll, they birthed soul music, less than 5 years later and while that was going on, white media hi-jacked the marketing term "rock n Roll" for largely white music.

Rock n roll of 70s & 80s sound nothing like the rock n roll of the 50s & 60s

no genre sounds exactly the same 30 years later:gucci:

it's harder for them to hi-jack those genres because they're more vocal dominated compared to rock n roll which was more dominated by an instrument (guitar) rather than vocals

when white people stole the marketing aspect of the label "rock n Roll", black people were still "rocking out", it just got called soul/funk unless you somehow were able to geared towards the white market.
