Mfs are now setting our beauty standards for ourselves without even working with us :dahell:

Typing enough lines of code to get diversity points without paying a black person a dime:francis:
They’ve been setting the beauty standards…

And we let them

I was listening to a video that actually brought up this point, and they basically said the underrepresented communities that these companies will "represent" ironically have less access to the the same technology (due to education, wealth, and knowledge gaps)

This is common sense. People who ask already know the answer.

Is there an article that states how and the amount of money it room for them to create this?

They started with models, then they moved to rappers.

Literally doing digital blackface and trying to get away with it

Like the end of a Marvel movie, The Cacs Will Return...

Whites continue to be despicable.

Create a fake digital Black person that you can completely control and own so you don't have to pay a real Black person anything. :mjpls:

So this isn't about "championing diversity or helping under-represented communities" (read Black ones).

This is just about whites still wanting to own Black people. And they're angry that they can't anymore

As for how to combat it. Promote dark skinned Black models from modeling agencies created to help Black women.

this isn't going to stop what's coming
in the tech world people have been talking about digital avatars in America since like 2016
I'm telling you that this is coming and it will be big
think about it. people are already heavily immersed in media and characters. leaping into something like this is not that far-fetched of an idea.
