Yeah this has always been the case, because black people didn't listen to Rakim,LL,Kane,Biggie,Pac,Dre,Snoop,Bone,Wu Tang when they were out...GTFOH.

:snoop:

I said OLD SCHOOL hip hop acts. Obviously when they were still hot they weren't considered old school and nikkaz supported them. But once they're time in the spotlight was over nikkaz moved on to something else.

alot of white kids love trap music and people like boosie etc but they aren't going to go see them at certain venues they performin at.
people like what they like... not my concern.

White people may think lil b is funny but that's were it stops. White people aren't dissing old legends just because they're "old" and not hot anymore.
Thats respect.

I won't say white people care more.. But it is sad to see black people disregard artist who try to bring something to the table rather than artists saying the same ol shyt over and over again over hot beats.

When we look back to this generation people will remember Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Nicki Manaj, Waka Flocka, Gucci, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa

But then will overlook Lupe, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Big KRIT

I guess people don't take into account how much disposable income white people have as opposed to blacks either.

Another thing...older black people that grew up on that 80's-early 90's music don't worry about going to rap shows, they're in their mid 30's-40's and hip hop music isn't that big of a deal to them, does it mean they don't still enjoy those artists? No...but look in the crowd when Maze & Frankie Beverly or Earth Wind & Fire are at a festival...mostly black and that's cause rap shows are seen as a juvenile/immature event in most older black peoples eyes.

-White people care more about Negro League baseball than black people
-White people care more about Jimi Hendrix than black people
-White people care more about historic Jazz music than black people
-Older white people care more about learning black history/culture than younger black people
-White people care more about hip-hop in general than black people, and are willing to PROVE it by buying albums/showing up at concert.

You might not like what I said, but I've seen all this with my own 2 eyes. :yeshrug:
