just want to drop in and say these so called black owned companies are fraudulent fubu and coogi for example are run by three jews. my girls uncle is one of the three

:youngsabo:
U still mad Toby? :steviej: rocawear, Sean jean, g unit, all black owned brands phaggot, now keep ur c00n ass out my thread.

None of them putting it down. The fubu nikka came back with coogi 5 years back, why can't other brands reinvent themselves, idk.

no they aren't, they give black men title positions and have them as the face of the company but they dont run shyt. the man your speaking of pitched the idea and has a large stake in the company but doesn't run it. do research. the same group that owns them is starting a falafel chain so you can believe me when you see it.

Karl Kani was alright but the majority of those clothing lines were terrible.

I was a teen in the early 2000s and I dressed like that but I could not imagine dressing that way as a grown man. Funny thing is now I make more money but spend way less on clothes. :scusthov: at buying a $70 phat farm button up in 10th grade.

I feel ya (pause). I used to spend incredible amounts of money for low quality shyt....just for the sake of the stitched name on the front:snoop:. Now, I spend less but would spend a decent amount on a quality item like:

Cole Haan, Allen Edmonds, Johnston & Murphy dress kicks
Eton, Banana Republic shirts
Brooks Brothers, Indochino suits, etc.

The shyt just last longer over time, through any trending period and fits most occasions/events I attend:manny:

No sellout but the line of business that I am in requires a more polished look. If a black designer puts shyt together and I like it, its durable, its cut right, its not trendy and its reasonably priced, then:manny: I'd rock it.

Cause the black fashion that was once popular was made for a certain era and a certain age group. Once that time passed, it was the end of black fashion. Being close minded and restricting your markets will do that for you.
