Karl Kani was alright but the majority of those clothing lines were terrible.
I was a teen in the early 2000s and I dressed like that but I could not imagine dressing that way as a grown man. Funny thing is now I make more money but spend way less on clothes.
at buying a $70 phat farm button up in 10th grade.
I feel ya (pause). I used to spend incredible amounts of money for low quality shyt....just for the sake of the stitched name on the front
. Now, I spend less but would spend a decent amount on a quality item like:
Cole Haan, Allen Edmonds, Johnston & Murphy dress kicks
Eton, Banana Republic shirts
Brooks Brothers, Indochino suits, etc.
The shyt just last longer over time, through any trending period and fits most occasions/events I attend
No sellout but the line of business that I am in requires a more polished look. If a black designer puts shyt together and I like it, its durable, its cut right, its not trendy and its reasonably priced, then
I'd rock it.
