Do nikkas think every Black American is trinket obsessed? Like we don’t have intellectuals or businessmen, or real estate people who know what they’re doing? :gucci:

If my grandad was alive with reparations, boaaa

You both completely missed the point.
No. You just didn't read it right...
I explicitly pointed out that I'm for reparations
And fukk no to that bullshyt "policies that disproportionately target our people". Slavery/Jim Crow targeted us DIRECTLY, so the remedy should as well.
Of course. But you're not going to get that from a position of weakness or just because it's "the right thing to do."

Everyone knows about the patronizing white that thinks we're going to blow the money on Jordans. But on this very board we gotta deal with the "patronized black" who thinks our only path towards winning is at the discretion of whites. Speechifying about being given an ideal remedy instead of taking ownership of pragmatic steps forward.

You think we all don't all know they owe for slavery?

Context is key here. I’m not talking about an individual earning millions. We’re talking about money being spent on a social program essentially. The U.S spends $2 trillion annually on social programs and results in damn near nothing.

No, this is completely disingenuous.

The vast majority of the money the USA spends on "social programs" is Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and basic welfare. That's just what's necessary to keep people alive and out of desperate poverty. This man didn't have to spend his $11 million on those programs because the people in the community were already getting that assistance. If the US government wasn't providing the basics for him already, then his money on education wouldn't have gone nearly as far cause he would have had to spend it on more basic needs.

nikkas taking pride in a rich white clown taking their neighborhood and moving them out, fixing it up, raising the property value up, and moving their fellow cacs in.

Dumb mothafukkas don’t know what gentrification means :scust:

You straight up made that up:

The entire White population was 167 in 2000. By 2020, it was down to 116.

$11 million over 20 years isn’t even a lot of money either.

This guy is pretty rich (net worth $300 million), so $11 million ain't that much of a sacrifice either.

Imagine if every millionaire/billionaire spent just 20% of their net worth on initiatives like this. There are 140,000 Americans worth at least $50 million, so that's 140,000 projects like this one they could be funding. Of course, if they spent that much time and money on something like this, it would go against the values that made them rich in the first place.
