I think he shot White House Down before he did Django if I'm not mistaken...

Jamie's a good actor but he usually follows up VERY STRONG dramatic performances with HORRIBLE comedy/action flicks. Remember when Ray and Stealth came out in the same year? It was like two different actors.....

ray came out in oct 04 while stealth came out in july 05

I know his manager. Kid from MIT. By the sounds of it Channing is a humble easy to work with guy. Plus, he brings women into the theaters to watch his movies.

Get used to him.

He seems like a down to earth dude, I just can't get jiggy with his acting

Why are they making all these Movies that all of a Sudden feature The White House being under attack, being Blown Up and stuff along those Lines?

No not "every" black man can portray a slave with relative ease. That's undermining the Heart, Determination, Charm, and charisma that Jamie brought to that character. Django was MORE than just a "slave", he was a MAN dedicating himself to the cause of freeing his captured wife. He played that character.

Also he was great as Boudini in ALI, Willie Beamen in Any Given Sunday, and Curtis Taylor in Dreamgirls. he's more than just an impressionist

Jamie had the the entire movie. He barely acted in Django and had zero personality. Any random negro could have pulled it off.

It pretty much follows the blueprint for a summer, non-superhero, action film.

Definitely not a parody...not sure how the trailers could get you to that point.

It's mindless popcorn fun, but it's well done popcorn fun imo.
