This cave bytch really wanted to say " she felt she should not have the burden of paying attention to her surroundings while using mass transit" 
We tell people on mass transit to keep your valuable items out of sight,to deter theft....and to pay attention to your surroundings as to be aware to something that may be happening, about to happen, or to prevent from happening to somebody or something.
Paying attention to your surroundings is something that all adults should do, regardless if you're walking outside, driving a car, sitting shotgun in a car, riding a bike, sitting in the mall at the food court etc.
at some point, you need to draw the line between attempting to curtail deviants...and where you should be accountable for your actions as an adult, or lack thereof.

Street harassment is if someone grabs your hand or arm and continues to when you show disinterest, pursues you or does or says something sexual like grabbin their junk and flicking their tongue at you.
But of course, to those women who are afraid of a black/brown man saying "hey gorgeous", it's the same as physically molesting them except the men are "molesting them with their eyes".
Street harassment is rude, obnoxious and sometimes disgusting but it falls under social/cultural conduct or etiquette. It is not sexual assault, which is punishable by law.
Word up. We need to start a street harrassment movement too.
