Korean fried chicken is way different than southern fried chicken. And southern fried chicken was originally brought to the South by the Scottish, before Black folk perfected it. Food is like music, the techniques constantly are shared and evolve from hand to hand, you can't claim any one group of people "own" anything that no one else is allowed to change because you can always go a little further back or a little further ahead and see that it was being transformed by others both before and after them.
