Actually, yeah they do.

Yes, there is freedom of speech, but most states and businesses have what is called at will employment which means they can fire you for any reason they would deem violations of their company policy and isn't any form of discrimination. A company can, and often will fire someone if they post offensive shyt online because as an employee, and especially if they have their job listed in social media, they then become a representative of the company and a reflection of that image. So in turn, if you say some say...racially foul shyt and the company catches wind(especially if contacted by any offended parties), that employee will pretty much get canned so the company no longer has to associate themselves with that person.

Where did the women who were putting up racist messages about white women working? Or do they have jobs to begin with?

You are correct that putting your company name in your profile is an invitation to associate your views with the company - but it never stops there.

Use a pseudonym, someone digs up your dox -- or worse, your dox are similar to someone else's and now you're targeted for shyt you didn't even do. Or someone pretends to be you, like those little girls a couple years ago who committed suicide. Come to find out, in at least one case it was a classmate's MOTHER pretending to be the little girl, sending nasty messages and implying the little girl was sexually promiscuous.

And that mother never felt she wasn't justified.

If those women want to talk shyt, close the forum, ban riff raff, better yet don't use Facebook at all.

And don't yell holy murder when you're committing it yourself. Those women weren't discussing how to make the world a better place.

companies spend hundreds of millions $ shaping their image and u think they're gonna let some low level employee ruin that image with a few facebook posts?

freedom of speech doesn't mean the things u say won't have consequences in ur personal and professional life. the law was meant so people felt free to speak out against their government since in the past that could result in arrest.
