Actually, yeah they do.shyts funny but a job doesn't really fire people for racism online
It's not a criminal act it's freedom of speech only when it's hate speech dealing with violence to other races
The reason why that lady got fired two years ago was from the pressure of social media to her job
Yes, there is freedom of speech, but most states and businesses have what is called at will employment which means they can fire you for any reason they would deem violations of their company policy and isn't any form of discrimination. A company can, and often will fire someone if they post offensive shyt online because as an employee, and especially if they have their job listed in social media, they then become a representative of the company and a reflection of that image. So in turn, if you say some say...racially foul shyt and the company catches wind(especially if contacted by any offended parties), that employee will pretty much get canned so the company no longer has to associate themselves with that person.
