Well looks like they are already setting up The Commonwealth story arc with that cliffhanger. They really burning through comic book material fast these days. Wouldn't surprise me if the Whisperers arc is wrapped up by the midseason finale

My guess is it will be wrapped up by then. But there's 7 months till the show Congress back, so the comics will have plenty of time to stay ahead of the show.

That seems like it would be a perfect wrap to the series, to have the survivors make it there
