makes me wonder though..if he did stay, if the show would be as good as it has been...him leaving forced them to step their game up to compensate the loss of Ricky

Maybe, can’t front tho..I would of really liked to See Ricks interactions with Judith, Negan, Lydia, Magnars group, Alpha and the pike deaths ect.

Daryls definitley held it down tho, they completely turned his character around this season

Word lol, i don’t think the movies are contracted to be his last appearance or anything like that, so you never know, if they keep up the quality he might even be up for returning down the line, season 10 looks like it’ll be the whisperer war for half and then maybe venturing out for the second half, during these airing we woulda had the Rick spin offs so season 11 could be based around Rick returning.

Nah I think you over estimating the intelligence of Ricks group.
Before he came to Alexandra, they had running water, power , cars and plans for expansion. The two former leaders were much more intelligent than the current group.
Put it this way, Negan had established major staging areas and ran multiple locations with Fat Joey and was more intelligent than anyone in Ricks group.

Yes, but they said they are basically out of fuel and can't make more. This is why it'd be hard to manage multiple Outpost. Plus they wasted hella resources on the all out war. I don't know why Alexandria at least doesn't have power and running water. Those homes all had solar panels and I remember seeing solar panels on a field or there to make power.

I dunno how the sanctuary had power. I assume they were running generators with fuel.

I'd be happy if he made limited appearances like in season 7 where he was only showing up once every 3-4 episodes.

I agree. Daryl had been grunting for the past couple seasons. They finally let him talk again once rick and Maggie left. BTW, I could see Maggie coming back next year as well since they didn't kill her off.

True, yeah Daryl was always dope in the first 4 or 5 seasons, then he just regressed into this sulking boring character who was never really doing shyt

How u expect him to make bullets? I'm sure they are hard pressed for gunpowder. They have the machines and the brass I would assume from all the spent shells during the war.

This is tough cause I agree with both of ya'll. From what I remember Kang Da Gawdess wanted him dead for good when he was leaving, but Gimple put the brakes on that for the flicks. I don't think it woulda affected this season regardless but we'll have to see how it changes for later seasons. Especially if we get him on the radio for Sunday's finale

We've got the best run of EPs in a long time, since his death. Don't know the Comic version of Rick/Whisperers arc, but I do enjoy this TV version.

With that said I looked forward to seeing The GOAT Rick Grimes jumping out the Heli geared up with assault rifles and saving the entire squad

They're limited as to how far they can search. The horses can only cover so much ground and carry limited amount of supplies back if they were to find something. They're pretty much making everything at this point. From food to weapons.

Nah. Oceanside had boats. Tara got their by boat.
Jadis being selfish didn’t tell anyone how well resourced her base was. They had led lights and weapons galore stashed there. They had uniforms also. It’s stupid no one in the group ransacked that base. Jadis also had high tech new communication equipment.

They still might have gone thru the majority of their ammo by that point. Plus they can't magically make more gunpowder. So they'd only have the equipment and the brass.

The time jump makes it real easy to slide rick back in, since the movies could just cover the time jump. If he came back in season 10/11 assuming it goes beyond season 10, shyt would be dope.
