Being in a damn cell , bouncing a ball is entertaining now? If he was going to “swindle” his way to the top of the food chain he would have done it when they were at there most vulnerable when Rick was reported dead and Michonne having the baby. That was when he had his chance. Now he has no chance with was stupid. As for him taking years to get to top of another group. How u figure?
If he ran into Magna group , he is the instant leader.
Meet the whispers and he is middle manager off the rip.

Doesn't work like that though. With Rick reported Dead, and Michonne having the baby, EVERYONE would be behind Michonne, if based on sympathy alone. She could've said off with his head and everyone would be game. And he'd also have no one on his side, but instead a list of people vying for one spot.

The long con is in the waiting game. After this amount of time in TWD universe, any group he runs into with these level of resources, has some sort of civilized order, some chain of command, something that makes their system work. He can't go muscling his way in, not if he wants people behind him and not have to challenge every i-want-that-spot. He has to watch, learn, charm his way into leadership. He's been comfortable in Alexandria long enough, gaining info, learning how everyone thinks and how to push buttons and nudge.

The only thing I would say is that whatever happened between Alexandria, Hilltop & Kingdom, he probably had a chance then...but any wise person waits until after the dust settles and sees what he has left to deal with.

I think people have forgotten over time of who he really is

Alexandria is extremely vulnerable to a negan takeover if Michonne leaves which we already know will happen. The show lacks strong characters, it almost makes sense that negan eventually takes over

Brehs stupid question but can you clear something up for me. I was under the assumption you had to be covered in Walker guts to cover the human/living smell.

These masks are enough to do that?

This is walking dead breh, no such thing as consistency :win:

Joking aside tho I’m guessing the smell of their clothes and rotting flesh masks would be enough to fool them

Lol! Fair enough. It just seemed like they were making it look like if you walk among them the same way, then they will be fooled. Didn't think a mask could create enough scent, given all the guts Rick/Glen poured on themselves way back when :dead:

No, it’s obvious bullcrap unless the skins are just deplorable

The Whisperers might be the most struggle villains in TV history

Nasty motherfukkers do nothing but roam around a forest covered in rotting flesh all day then come home to an empty camp and wallow in their own shyt :hhh:

I can see they're under a kind of cult leader the same as Negan. She found a way and they're following it, same as Rick and Negan became leaders.

But as soon as her people see you can build walled communities that last years, that should destroy the entire reason for their way of life

Yeah, this is another one that bothers me. The cover would work at a distance but should fall apart when you get close enough to be smelled

there's not any chance that daryl and connie develop a romance? I mean that dude hasn't gotten any trim the ENTIRE series.

:francis: Carol stay pitching but he won't swing.

:hhh: I don't wanna see him with Connie. I want her for myself.

:yeshrug: Hell, I can see the ship name in itself being "Carryl". That in itself says everything.

:heh: it's morbid as shyt, but I'd be out there like Dapper Dan, with Walker belts, jackets bubble gooses and AF1's.
