We, Africans do not tend to refer to ourselves as: blacks, yellow or brown, hence - I wouldn't know how to reply to "are you black?".

Think really well and hard as to whether you should be quoting the very evil itself about this particular part. Suppose roughly 13,6 MM Africans were enslaved. I can cite here and now that no more than say 2.5 MM were "sold" with consent, in truth, even then I'm most certainly overestimating. I can envisage with utterly ease as how the evil came about acquiring the remaining lot. A whole lot easier to perhaps 'admit' the kidnapping of, say 2 or 4 Africans obviously. Much, much, much more difficult admitting the kidnapping of 5 to 15 MM.
I suppose various element would find it difficult to admit, admitting first and foremost to own selves that particular kins have evolved into diabolic parasites and cancer endowed with unbelievable evil.
And yes, African descendants have coped fairly well having managed to survive (against all odds) to date. By simple being alive against all odds correspond perfectly with my very own life principle and most Africans of surviving by all necessary means. I commend them for that, Yet, some would reason that there is more to life than the mere survival part of it all, wouldn't you agree?
