The WOAT of the jigga-man

I know what girls like - vol 1 : pretty much the blueprint jiggy verse every rapper who bites in the mainstream uses as a template. awful jiggy record in full execution.
probably, jay's dopest carry job in his discography.

The city is mine - vol1 : another jiggy blueprint verse record.
made better by foxy brown's get you home tonight. i believe mad skillz gw, the foxy version. the city is mine is definate fastforward material as well. yet it is a rubrick or building block of the jiggy era.

face off ft Sauce money - vol 1 : only dope back and forth jayz record made should not be on the list.
Snoopy Track - vol 3 : one of his dopes records after he got his second gen flows right.

jock'n jayz ; dope record, never understood the hate from the other promotion for this record.

the rest of this list is spot on though.
it is more that should be on the list.
yet i will not be bothered to go through his later discography to pull them out.
all of his records after the black album, damn near all the tracklisting on those.
feature some of his all time worst material.

i can not think of but one dope jay record from that period.
other than the just blaze rick james super freak sample record.

as superman ain't been alive to loosen up his tie skillwise in quite some time.

the line was dope, but jay is not clark kent!
nor, mj for that matter, either

i do not agree with:

anything with the kid sample series like hardknock life.
that was a dope record,...i bought the awful beanie debut, specifically.
just to have the mixed version of that record.
that was originally a great capper to the volume three bootleg.

I think Im the only nikka in the world who fukks with "fukk All Night." That shyt is cold as hell to me. Co-signs everything else though. We was just having a session the other day and I was telling nikkas who if you made a CD with all this nikkas filler throughout the years, you'd have a strong candidate for one of the worse albums of all time. Is there any other acclaimed rapper with as much filler in his catalog? This dudes shytty songs are catching up to his classics..

city is mine is just a corny fukking song, i hated it in 97, i hated it in 2007, I'll hate it in 2017...fukk that song, it was lame then and the fukking usual suspects video ripoff shyt was garbage too

fukk the city is mine

I hate that ish too. It was too bland for my tastes. actually, I pretty much hate all of Jay-Z's singles, so I guess you can start from there.

And ALL of his Beyonce collabos.

I don't understand why people like Parkin Lot Pimpin, to me that song is as trash..hella generic. And it's practically the same as Change the Game (which is also kinda wack).

People always put "Young Forever" on this list on the old Sohh.com message board and on The Coli. I always see the exact opposite reaction outside of the boards though. I've seen Jay-Z live twice since 2009 and he always ends his concerts with that song, and people know it word for word. It also slow burned its way up Billboard to Top 10. Plus, whenever someone has a birthday they always ask the DJ to play it.

I'm not saying anyone's opinion is wrong. I do find it interesting how much things differ with music opinions once you get off of the message boards.

PS: The exact same thing happens when "Lighters" from Bad Meets Evil is mentioned.
