Art Barr...

I just get the feeling you're an old bus-riding nikka from the level of contempt you have in these posts... Seriously man, you on some grandpa shyt now.

Next you gonna tell a story of how :duck: "you youngins don't know nothin' joe. In my day, we had to wake up at 5 in the morning and milk the cows, then pour the milk in our daddy's oatmeal so he'd give us $5 to go to the record store... then we had to tie newspapers around our feet and walk in 13 feet of snow just to get our hands on that new Fearless Four record. You don't know nothin' bout no hip-hop!" You's a bitter nikka, bruh... got daaaamn!

Through't the table!

OH MY GAWWWWWWWWD!

Ol' still listen to music on cassette face ass nikka.

well we know you one of the head pass givers on the site.
so i expect nuffin but a bullshyt rant from you like this one.
you normally are quick to give anyone a pass.
to uphold your halfway in the road fence posturing.
when you really like a bunch of trash.
which is easily discernible over the years.
you know you really have no credence to aid you culturally on my posting.
which is why you replied with this bullshyt wannabe personal attack.

keep it up, and i feast after setting up the tables.
after getting the bushes pruned't.
for when you subsequently go throughed't them.

I don't normally post. In fact, I've never posted here, but I'm really curious about Brooklyn's Finest being one of Jay's worst records. Before I respond, I want to make sure I understand what you're saying. Here's what I gathered from your posts on this:

You think it's one of the worst bc

1. Biggie said "if Fay have twins she'd probably have 2 pacs, get it 2pacs"
2. Jay also dissed Pac on the record (can you shed some light on that - what exactly did he say was a diss?)
3. You think the beat is Jiggy bullshyt.

Is there anything else? Or is that it?

dawg,..
the record is one of the worst diss records.
posing, as an introductory high profile feature ever.

it is the reason why pac fans claim a duke in the big battle.
plus have credence if we go by what actual material existed, where it was obvious who was being dissed.
before both were gone.

not to mention, big was more skilled.
than that wack ass half hearted simp-tastic ass diss.
plus jay was never up to the challenge to really serve pac.
he was a hanger-on, and the record easily says as much.
plus his actions afterward says as much as well.
as prodigy had definate credence in his mixtape venue attacks with nas and fatjoe. which went on for eighteen months. before jay grew a backbone to reply.
jay is one of the worst diss record makers and battle rap artist of all time,..
this record was the beginning of a trend.

Im convinced most of y'all some young cats...stanning lil b, listening to riff raff

And chief keef...but dissing good artists like Hov. I swear some of them songs y'all named was named strictly outta HATE...not saying Jigga didn't have bad songs, but every artist did. Hell, some of y'all would be hot if I had to do a WOAT album with NAS, ol school Cash Money or No Limit, some of y'all favorite artists/songs would be right up there.

And those that mentioned the song Blueprint 2...prob mad cause that Ether track wasn't even a better diss than that. Let's not even compare it to the heart-ripper Superugly. Jay was clownin on Blueprint 2...in Ether NAS doin first grade shyt talking about ow Jay-Z look. I like NAS, but the hate y'all have for Hov on here is ridiculous...Parking Lot Pimpin on that list? C'mon son...do y'all listen to music or just skim thru it? I think I KNOW the answer already

Boy, I wonder who Y'ALL like? I mean aside from Nas, Tupac, and Lil Wayne.

How y'all shyt on one of the greatest artists of our time is beyond me...

But I respect opinions...so carry on

jayz's fanbase just has an affinity for him that goes beyound quality of music.
as his draw, simply arose from marketing, saturation payola playlist bds credits and the death of big/pac. which eliminated the glass ceiling effect big amd pac had on the mainstream rap fans and industry.
his body of actual artistic work is really low quality.
when put under the microscope and properly surveyed.

he is the best pr's rapper in history.
yet pr and quality of music are few and far between.
when honestly discussing jayz as an artist in full.
from a quality, and cultural standpoint.

there are plenty of popular pop genre artist just like jayz.

yet that does not make them the equivalent or standard bearer of what quality actually is artistically.

let, alone culturally, either.

most of american gangsta can go on there, too.

that shyt was trash,...
no discernible actual content about hustling on that ahit whatsoever.
if i wanted to listen to a nikka's thoughts.
i would have turned on the much better freddie foxx/primo, my thoughts.

american gangsta was garbage,..with a grafted on title.
to latch onto thunder from denzel/crowe.

that shyt was huff as fukk,..plus he had the nerve to sample rump shaker.

then try to pass the sample off like pe....

NO,..nikka, no!

Please quote the lyrics where Jay dissed 2pac on Brooklyn's Finest and explain why its a diss.

How many times do I gotta say it

Jigga What/Faint & Big Pimpin/Papercut were the remixes from that Linkin Park collabo album, not the actual song. What, you're just gonna ignore the "Faint" and "Papercut" part?

And the general consensus for those songs you listed are unfavorable, why would you bold The City Is Mine when most people hate that song :smh: And hey, I included Hot Tottie so you know I wasn't just putting Jay songs on there

And I'm not the OP since you fukkas can't read

His music is low artistic quality?:rudy:

The man has done radio and album/street ish...granted, he harps on a lot of the same stuff but hell, a LOT of artists do and still continue to do so...not making excuses, just stating fact. His wordplay has been phenomenal, beats on point and generally has been the "uncle" or "big homie" of the rap game for at least a decade...I mean I just feel like y'all sellin him short, I'm no stan, just a LONG TIME fan who's appreciated his work...

No doubt tho bruh, I mean I disagree with your opinion, but i still respect it.
