Nothing will ever top the Jericho debut for me. The internet was still fairly new at that time and you heard about it on Rajah. I marked out when the clock hit zero. I had a coworker who trained with Dr. Luther and knew Jericho so that had me marking out more. Shame he turned out to be a fukken MAGA idiot.

Kane had the best debut, IMO. They planted the seed in June slowly built it up and debuted him in October in dramatic fashion. It was perfectly executed.

Mankind's debut was very memorable not for his match against Bob Holly but for what he did to the Undertaker later that night. No one had really been able to put the Undertaker down like that before without a lot of help, and Mankind got the Mandible Claw over as a dangerous hold. All in all it was a very successful debut.

And of course, the debut of the REAL World Champion, The Nature Boy Ric Flair in 1991, Bobby Heenan put him over like a million bucks.

Might as well throw in Undertakers debut at Survivior Series '90 as Ted Dibiase's mystery partner.

The absurdity of this is OFF THE CHARTS. :russ:

Truth's run to ring, decking Regal, and having a concert all at once is one of the wildest things I've ever seen out of a debut.

He actually debuted on heat the night before and had a concert at wwf new york.
