Every other food from the Caribbean is living in Jamaica's shadow, so much so that beef patties are apart of NY street food culture. fukk ya'll nikkas talking about Haiti and Trinidad? :russ::mjlol:

Jerk Chicken
Curry Chicken
Ackee & Saltfish
Brown Stew Chicken
Blue Draws
Every flavor of patties
Spice Bun
Sugar Bun
Rock Cake
Tamarind Balls
Oxtail
Mannish Water
Festival and Ackee & Saltfish
Banana Fritters
Saltfish Fritters
Soursop Juice

Barbados...followed by Jamaica...Trini food Is ok... Too starchy.

Mauby
Fish cakes,
Flying fish, king fish
Sweet bread
Turnovers,
Coocoo,
Salt bread
Sweet bread
Ju-c/fruitee
Rum punch
Herring
Fish cutter
Turnovers
Oxtail
Tamarin balls
Lead pipe
Pound cake
Plantain

You can get some of this shyt in other islands but Barbados has the best overall food IMO, Jamaica way up there too.

Give me Jamaican and banana food the rest of my life and I’m good.

The only right answer is Trinidad, good mix of Indian/African cooking there are no other answers Grenada/ Guyana has very similar cooking to trinis

Jamaican food is just bland and it's the got to answer for people who have never been to the Carribbean

Oh you from the west indies :krs: ? what part of Jamaica,

all said in the most generic Carribbean accent :beli:

Man yall need to go to other islands.

happy to have a discussion. I've eaten alot of caribbean foods and been to the actual islands, but I'm not Anthony Bordain either.

But I can bounce between eschovitz, brown stew, Roti, and aloo and be happy the rest of my life. Not even throwing Ackee and Saltfish in yet. I do know Jamaicans are typically the cleanest too when it comes to food, they don't play with that shyt.

I get the impression that DR food is better where you at tho I had some weak ass mangu and tres golpes down here.

Nobody in the Caribbean makes fish like Zoes tho quote me on that :wow: nikka ate the fried eyeballs and errythang

Haiti for fish?:mjlol:

I've been to some Haitian spots and the fish is not on point...they must have taken their fish lessons from the french:picard:

- look at this fish, it's terrible

- look at jamaican brown stew, look at that sauce . You can pour that in a glass and drink it for lunch.

Nothing again haitian food but I'm never getting fish from Haitian spots, ever!
