I think it's deeper than that. A lot of places are known for their food. NYC sandwiches are known to be HUGE, but NYC ain't on the list. DC got more restaurants per capita than most if not all cities in the US, but DC ain't on the list.

It's cultural.

Anyways it’s so shock that it’s the south. The lifestyle and eating habits play a part.

when I went to Louisiana a few weeks back I couldn’t help notice that healthy eating is not a deep thing down there. I also didn’t see people jogging everywhere like I do in Brooklyn.


Same thing when I visit my cousin in Georgia.

i met a black lady from Tulsa, OK in manhattan once and she jokingly said that if you are vegetarian or a vegan people will question your manhood lol.
