Which title is THE flagship title in WWE?

It's been almost 2 years now since the universal title was introduced. Brock has held it for almost a year.

While the WWE title has been treated as a secondary title a la the world heavyweight championship, I still think it is THE title. Same title all the legends held and the prestige and lineage is there.


Has the universal title surpassed the WWE title?

Right now they book the Universal Title as the bigger belt since it’s on RAW and Brock holds it.

Depends on who is holding it i guess. Considering the WWE title is the one consistently defended every 30 days, id say that one right now

Why should i care about a 2 year old title that only four guys won ?
It was a really bad idea to create a new world championship with no history, they should have brought back the big gold belt.

It's been proven that no matter what, they ain't stopping the lineage of that title. Currently, it's on SD so it's not getting the same attention as the Universal title. But that can change a number of ways, and I'm sure at some point, it's gonna be on Raw again. And if they ever unite the titles or discontinue one, it ain't gonna be the one they've had lineage on since 1963.
