In his defense, McGee is the most athletic center in the league, he's always had the potential to be one of the best 5s in the league, just no direction at all. It seems like Bynum is on the wrong end of McGee figuring out that he actually has talent.
The Nuggets got three 7 footers, and one of them is much quicker & more athletic than him, while the other two are there to slow him down a bit. It could be a bad matchup for him to be honest.

It's not just that. It's his overall lack of energy and activity. He always struggles with people his size and that's the problem. He's too inconsistent. He didn't even put up a fight.

He was the best center but Javale McGee is now. The best center in the league title is thrown around recklessly these days.
Ibaka and Perkins aren't as big as McGee, and neither runs the floor as hard as him. His quickness and the fact he's 7"0 is what is giving Bynum problems right now, almost all his rebounds are because he's just flat out quicker than Andrew.
Usually Bynum is either taller or stronger than his defender, in this instance he's only stronger but is giving up a lot of speed/quickness in return.

When Bynum plays hard he is without a doubt the best center in the league. The problem is you never know when he's going to play hard or "loaf around".
