if u have two black parents with admixture ur still black. one white parent and one black parent = biracial. what dont u get? biracials and blacks have different experiences on average. black people grow up around other black members. biracials grow up around whites and sometimes their black side. we are not the same. in LA we are our own group get over it. we even have a biracial history month now its in May. we are allowed to check biracial on job applications etc.
so you would rather people be lumped into the same "other" bin along with people who have one white parent and one Asian parent than be considered black?even if they look black?are raised around black people and identify as such? you can separate yaself if you want to but you cant speak on behalf of all mixed people...plenty of mixed people celebrate black history month right along with other black people and consider themselves black whether you like that or not...they just get to the Malcolm X section and start to feel some type of way for a number of reasons....and I guess anybody can have a made up month,i don't know what you want me to tell you about that unofficial bullshyt...if your biracial your either a black person who can "pass" as white or you cant.....if you cant pass then you with us", and you can deny that if you want to,but weve always had a word for biracial people who denied they was black over the years(c00n,tom),and white folks had a word for them too when they found out they were passing(n1gger).....and blacks have shown much growth by allowing those biracial people to claim biracial if you want to,and whites have shown growth by no longer hanging yall....now show some growth here allow other people who are mixed but identify as black out there do that if they want to. the fact you find something wrong with that because YOU see no ADVANTAGE in identifying as such is your own thing. some biracials luhh blackness, they love the culture....for you its apparently a anchor and a problem, for them its black excellence...biracials can act new if they want to but i know what its always been where im from, you guys have fun with your biracial month tho.
