I wish there was an answer on the back of these memes lol

It's 9 because in PEMDAS you work from left to right when it comes to both Multiplication and Division. Multiplication and Division are treated as one group and you solve which ever one is first whether it be multiplication or division starting with your left and working right.

It is first but what's inside is first. The multiplication is not though. So you divide 6 by 2 then multiply what's inside.

Peace of Cake. Google it.

:gucci:.. The parentheses is like a variable.. Eliminate and drop the shyt early. :gucci:

Solve the parenthesis first :dwillhuh:

Then move further with the equation :gucci:

Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are left to right after that:dwillhuh::gucci:

People.
Division IS multiplication; multiplication of the opposite. This was never taught the right way :snoop:
1/3 is the same as
1 x 1/3

2/3 is the same as

2 x 1/3

6/2 is the same as

6 x 1/2
six times one half

So'
6/2 (1+2) is also written as
6 x 1/2 (1+2)

Parenthesis: 6 x 1/2 (1 + 2) = 6 x 1/2 (3) which can also be written as

6 x 1/2 x 3

six times one half times 3

Exponents: no exponents so move to next step

Multiplication/Division. REMEMBER. Division is multiplication so it should be treated with the same precedence: LEFT TO RIGHT

so that would be

6 x 1/2 which is 3

and then multiply that by 3

which gets you
:krs:9
