I prefer volume one, but to be honest....I feel like Tarantino has gotten way too self-indulgent and it started with these movies. I really would prefer him to turn it down a bit.

BTW, these tracks :W00W3:

Yeah, his music is always fire, and I traditionally don't even like commercial songs in movies (Tend to prefer a score), but him and Scorsese always make it work.

Vol. 1 was my favourite of the two. That ending :lupe:

I remember the lonely grave of Paula Schultz but were there any other nods to other Tarantino movies?

I've heard the theory that Kill Bill is supposed to be the film adaptation of Mia Wallace's Fox Force Five, but couldn't think of any other connections.

I was intrigued by his idea to do the movie of Vernita Green's daughter going after Beatrix Kiddo too.
I think tarantino abandoned it even though thr girl who played thr daughter is now 18 and uma is only like 40

I think the 1st one was the best, because I dont think anyone expectd to walk into a movie theater and watch uma thurmon display high levels of sword play and come across as a kung fu master assasin...and even if they did im sure they didnt expect her to do it so well...The second one is great also..because of the training sequence with Pai Mei...and gordon liu playing pai me, really did it for me..cause in every movie hes ever been in, he was always fighting pai mei lmao

Part one was a great action movie. But part 2 was prob the better movie. it really slowed down and focused on character development and had a lot of surprising twists.
The part where the master is teaching uma thurman how to fight is prob the best and funniest part of both films:lolbron:
Plus that whole section with that drunk bouncer was amazing. After watching uma thurman body 100 yukuza, i figured that guy would get bodied with the quickness, instead she pops into his trailer and literally finds him with that shotty on some:ufdup:
And than the twist with the black mamba also caught me off gaurd:ohhh:
